Pierre will ask you to play the two pieces that you will have prepared at home (see previous page). You will play them as if you were on a stage, and you will be able to use. Pierre’s hifi concert equipment and returns. Your course-mates will be your audience, who will analyze your play after your performance. Pierre will speak last.
Pierre will propose pieces adapted to your level. You must feel free to question him whenever necessary.
Pierre will also propose pieces for guitar ensembles. You will need to study them seriously because one day will be partly devoted to group play.
Please do keep in mind that Pierre is a very demanding guitarist…
All along this course you will have ample free time for your personal study. There is enough space (320 sq m.) on the premises for you not to disturb one another. However some rooms of the main building will be kept out of bounds.
The end of the course will be highlighted by a private concert performed in the music-room. You will be given the opportunity to play solo or as an ensemble in front of an audience composed of strangers.
